Allowance Tracker — Rate × Completion Earnings Ledger with CSV Export
Track kids' allowance: set a rate per chore, log completions, and see each child's earnings. Data stays on your device; export CSV.
How to use this tool
- 1
Add each child, then set the rate per chore (e.g. $0.50 for dishes).
- 2
Log a completion every time a chore is done — the ledger timestamps it.
- 3
Watch the per-child total update as rate × completions.
- 4
Export the ledger as CSV for records, or to keep in a spreadsheet.
Frequently asked questions
▸How does the allowance math work?
Each chore has a rate you set (e.g. $0.50). Every time you log a completion, the ledger adds a dated entry and the child's total updates as rate × completions. Remove an entry and the totals recompute instantly.
▸Where is my data stored?
In your browser's localStorage on this device only — there is no account and no server. Use the CSV export to keep a backup or move the ledger to a spreadsheet.
▸Can I track more than one child?
Yes — add each child with their own chore rates; the ledger keeps per-child totals and the CSV export includes one row per entry with the child's name.
